THREE people have been arrested in connection with the death of an ex-prisoner whose body was found in woodland in Motherwell, Lanarkshire.

James Taylor, 29, from Edinburgh, was last seen leaving Saughton Prison in Edinburgh on Friday 17 October.

His body was discovered by two teenage boys two days later.

Two men, aged 22 and 28, and a woman aged 42 have been detained by police and are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
